Looking for a PhotoKeyworder alternative for stock video? PhotoKeyworder.ai writes titles, descriptions and ordered keywords from several frames of a clip, then hands you a CSV. What PhotoKeyworder.ai does
PhotoKeyworder.ai is a web service that generates titles, descriptions and keywords for photos, videos and vector images. As read on 13 October 2026, its home page describes it by file type:
- Photos (JPG, PNG): metadata embedded in the file, plus a CSV or ZIP download;
- Vectors (EPS 10 or newer): keywords embedded in the EPS, and in a JPG if you upload or generate one;
- Videos: multi-frame analysis, with a CSV and no metadata written into the file.
For every type, you can set the title and description length and the keyword count, and give the AI a hint or let it use the file name. A Lightroom Classic plugin writes metadata to photos inside the Lightroom catalog; its page does not mention video. A separate iStock and Getty Images page accepts images or videos and limits keywords to iStock’s official list, with CSV files that the page calls compatible with DeepMeta, qHero and ESP.
PhotoKeyworder.ai prices
The pricing page says “All prices are VAT excluded”. One image costs 1 credit and one video 3 credits; prepaid credits never expire, and subscriptions renew every 30 days without carrying unused images over.
| Offer | Price | Videos included | Per video, before VAT |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subscription, 400 images | €8.99 per 30 days | 133 | about €0.07 |
| Subscription, 3,000 images | €32.99 per 30 days | 1,000 | about €0.03 |
| Subscription, 30,000 images | €269.00 per 30 days | 10,000 | about €0.03 |
| Pack, 300 credits | €9.99 once | 100 | about €0.10 |
| Pack, 2,000 credits | €34.99 once | 666 | about €0.05 |
| Pack, 100,000 credits | €899.00 once | 33,333 | about €0.03 |
Registering gives 20 free credits, enough for six videos. The pricing page counts a video as 3 credits and says nothing about its length, so a 60-second clip and a 10-second clip are priced the same.
Batch keywording for video
The home page says you can upload and process up to 500 photos, vectors or videos at a time. For videos, it lists:
- “Multi-Frame Analysis: AI understands action & context better than single-frame tools.”
- AI hints or file name context for complex scenes;
- “Detailed CSV output (Standard, Adobe Stock, Shutterstock).”
- “Metadata not embedded directly into video files.”
The page does not say how many frames are read, which video formats are accepted, or the maximum file size. Pond5 is not among the named CSV formats, so if you sell there, check the Standard CSV against Pond5’s import on a few clips first.
Keyword order on photo, vector and video
The sentence “Keywords are ordered by importance” appears three times on the home page: under photos, vectors and videos. For Adobe Stock, that is the useful part. Adobe’s help says the first 10 keywords have the most influence on search ranking, and keyword order cannot be changed while a file is in moderation.
An ordered list still needs a read. A tool can rank a wrong guess high, and Pond5 asks contributors to remove auto-generated keywords that do not apply. Check the first ten against the clip before you import. How to build that order by hand is in Adobe Stock keyword order.
Where it stops: the upload
PhotoKeyworder’s pages describe uploading files to PhotoKeyworder and downloading the results. None of them, as read on 13 October 2026, mention sending files to an agency or FTP. For video, you do two more steps yourself:
- Upload the clips to each agency: in the browser, or in bulk by FTPS at Shutterstock, SFTP at Adobe Stock for qualified accounts, or FTP at Pond5.
- Import the CSV at each agency. The FAQ warns that agencies match each CSV row to a file by its exact file name, that a comma has been confirmed to break Shutterstock’s CSV parser, and suggests re-importing in batches of 5 to 10 files when metadata does not attach.
PhotoKeyworder alternatives, compared
Each line comes from the tool’s own pages, read on 13 October 2026. Some keyworders write text only; others also upload automatically. Prices change, so check before you pay.

Where RushPilot fits
RushPilot is a desktop app for stock video contributors, in private beta with a waiting list. You cannot download it today; if you need keywords this week, PhotoKeyworder.ai or a tool from the table above will do the job.
It covers the step PhotoKeyworder leaves to you. RushPilot looks at five frames of each clip, writes the title, description and keywords for Shutterstock, Adobe Stock and Pond5 (most important first for Adobe), checks common rejection reasons such as resolution, duration, visible logos and upscaling, waits for your approval, then uploads. It does not handle photos, vectors, iStock or a Lightroom workflow. Its launch prices, on the pricing page, run from €0.05 to €0.09 per clip with VAT included for EU buyers, so for text alone, PhotoKeyworder’s larger plans cost less per clip.
